StJPII offers a variety of after school enrichment activities for both elementary and middle school students.
*After School Activities are not permitted to meet on campus for the first nine weeks of the 2020-2021 school year. Activities that will be meeting online or off campus during this time are noted below.
After School Activities
Art Club (5th - 8th Grade) & Mini Art Club (3rd & 4th Grade) Art Club and Mini Art Club are for students who enjoy creating a variety of challenging and creative art projects. Energy Dance Center (PreK - 2nd Grade) – Off Campus These dance classes are for students interested in learning the art of ballet. Blitz Kidz Chess (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) This after school club is perfect for beginner and advanced chess players. The curriculum is designed to teach chess as a life skill and/or competitive skill. Students will get to compete in end of semester tournaments. This is an excellent club for beginner through expert coders. Coding is done using the Scratch programming language. Idea Lab Kids Coding & Programming (1st - 5th Grade) This STEAM class is great for students interested in learning how to code and program. American Robotics Academy (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) – Online The American Robotics Academy offers three different live online engineering classes for students at StJPII based on age and skill level. Little Engineers (K-2nd), Future Engineers (3rd&4th), and Think Like an Engineer (4th&5th). Staying Ahead of the Game (Middle School) Staying Ahead of the Game is an after school executive functioning skills program offered to middle school students at StJPII. Challenge Club (Girls, 5th - 8th Grade) – Online Challenge is a Catholic girls club that helps students grow in virtue, friendship, and faith. This is a club for girls to learn about themselves by doing apostolic projects, building friendships and creating a positive impact on family, friends and the world. Conquest Club (Boys, 3rd - 8th Grade) – Off Campus Conquest is a Catholic Youth Ministry program for boys. Its combines sports and dynamic activities with a faith and virtue instruction.
