HOUSTON – St. John Paul II Catholic School (StJPII) cordially invites families interested in Pre-K through 8th grade to its campus on Tuesday, January 30 for guided tours from 8:30-11:00 a.m. and/or Open House from 6:00-7:30 p.m. StJPII is located at 1400 Parkway Plaza Drive (near Briar Forest and Eldridge) in Houston (77077).
December 6 is the feast day of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of children, which appropriately falls during the Advent season. This feast day is an especially exciting one for children as they count down the days on their Advent calendars in anticipation of Christmas day.
HOUSTON – The Varsity Saints of St. John Paul II Catholic School (StJPII) swept the Fall athletics season winning first place in the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association (GHCAA) city championship tournaments in Soccer and Boys Cross Country. This is one of the winningest single seasons in school history. As the school opened its doors in 1988, the athletics programs didn’t begin until 1994 with only a few sports. Since then, StJPII has won 21 championship titles. The Volleyball team finished in 2nd place and both the Football team and the Girls Cross Country team finished the season in 3rd place.
HOUSTON – St. John Paul II Catholic School (StJPII) will host a Fall Open House for families who are interested in learning more about the school for their incoming Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade and/or Second Grade children. The Fall Open House will occur on Tuesday, October 19 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at StJPII, which is located at 1400 Parkway Plaza Drive (near Briar Forest and Eldridge) in Houston (77077).
Our Football team will play here at home on our field on Wednesday, September 13 at 5:30 vs St Elizabeth Ann Seton! So grab your lawn chairs and come out to see our Varsity Football SAINTS as they kick off their season!
Before and after school care will be available 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Enrolled families will receive a credit for September 6-8. If you have been impacted by floodwaters in your home and need BASP services, please email Leticia Velasco
Elementary soccer registration is now closed; thank you to all the families who registered and volunteered! The teams are currently in the process of being formed; you will hear from coaches next week. In the meantime, mark you calendars with these important upcoming dates: Week of August 28 - Coaches will email athletes with practice times and roster Week of September 5 - Practices begin September 20 - Game schedule announced September 23 - First game November 11 - Last game We are looking forward to a great season!
