One of the reasons that John Paul II Catholic School has been so successful is the dedication and commitment of the school community. From its inception, John Paul II has been blessed with many people who have shared their time, talent and treasure in order to ensure the children an excellent academic experience in a wonderful environment. By its active involvement in the school, the community continually models its faith and commitment to the students.
John Paul II is fortunate to have several parent organizations that coordinate activities for the students and parents at the school. The John Paul II Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
has a rich history of providing quality student programs and donating countless hours of volunteer time toward these programs. Programs such as Art-a-la-carte, Library Helpers, Room Parents, Lunch Bunch, New Parent Orientation, Newcomers' Coffee, and Birthday Recognitions are just a few of the many ways the PTO provides support to the school. Financially, the PTO annually donates funds raised from their events and fundraisers to purchase classroom supplies and instructional aids for the students. In addition to the PTO, the JPII Dad's Club is a social organization that hosts events such as golf and basketball tournaments, which provide the fathers a means to socialize and become acquainted.
Whether a parent has one or many hours available, there is a place for him or her at John Paul II. The parents are the key to an exceptional educational experience at John Paul II. It is through the dedication and talents of the many people who comprise the school community that John Paul II has grown to become an award-winning school and will be assured continued success in the future.
