All volunteers must be VIRTUS trained according to Archdiocesan policy, complete the background check, and have a picture taken before they can volunteer on campus. ID pictures are taken on the first Friday of the month before Mass.
To Become A Volunteer Approved Parent:
The following three forms must be submitted to the JPII office prior to volunteering.
1. Virtus Confirmed Attendance Certificate (available 2 - 4 weeks after attendance)
2. Authorization Form for Background Check
3. Signed Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Volunteer Code of Conduct
It will take two to four weeks for verification after all three forms are turned into the JPII office.
Click on the link below to print the forms. The Virtus form will give instructions on how to register for a “Protecting God’s Children” session. Remember your “Name” and “Password” to print your certificate two to four weeks after you attend the class. Submit this certificate with the Authorization Form and the Volunteer Code of Conduct to the John Paul II office as soon as possible.
